About Us

Cabin Life

Cabin life is intregral to the camp experience.  Campers live with other campers who are typically entering the same grade in school in the fall.  We balance the time spent in cabins with time spent in activities and work on strategies for cabin unity, creating lasting friendships that go beyond the camp season.

Cabins are rustic yet comfortable, with bunk beds and “cubbies” for each camper.  Each cabin has electricity and has their own bathrooms, showers and some even have popular outdoor showers. All showers and toilet stalls have locking doors, allowing campers full privacy when using the bathroom and getting changed.

The cabin group forms the nucleus of a campers social sphere at camp. Their cabin mates, being of a very similar age/grade, share interests and much of the camp experience. Campers spend a lot of time with cabin mates, which allows acquaintances to become friends.

Counselors live in cabins with campers. Your campers counselor/s are carefully selected for to be the right fit for each age group. Counselor serve multiple roles - instructors, mentors, role models, and provide supervision and safety. They are fun, friendly, interesting and empathetic adults who are there to make sure your camper has the very best summer possible.
