When/How To Register?

40th Reunion- August 30-September 1, 2024

Catch up on Maine Teen Camp Alumni Facebook page.

Where Will I Stay?

Attendees will sleep in camper’s cabins; we will provide basic bedding if you request it ahead of time.  There will be others in your cabin.  Groupings will be families with children, couples, and singles being housed separately. Please refrain from requesting specific cabins.

Can I Bring Family?

Generally, MTC alumni who are 21 or older (and their partners), and their children 12 and under are welcome.  Please understand that while children are welcome, they must be supervised by parents/guardians.  Basic arts and outdoor activities will be available.

Activities?

Enjoy the outdoors…swim, kayak, canoe, take an activity workshop, play in the Bob Briskin Memorial Tennis Tournament, sunbathe on the docks!

MTC evenings…Friday will feature a food truck dining experience, talent/no-talent show, and campfire.  Saturday evening will be a fine feast followed by our Last Chance Dance with a local Portland 80s band.  Sunday features a delish brunch and followed by farewells.

Memory sharing…featured will be a collection of MTC memorabilia, videos, music, photos, etc.

Silent Auction…as fundraising for the Legends Campership Fund.

Make it a vacation in Maine…use the reunion attendance as a chance to explore Maine further – check out the various local beaches, Portland’s huge dining and brewery scene, and so much more.

Most importantly…connect with others.  Use your time together to reunite with old friends, make new friends, and just spend time memory sharing and being a part of our special community.

Meals & Beverages

Arrival time will be after 3pm on Friday.  We will be serving our first dinner on Friday served “food truck style”.  Saturday will be breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Sunday will be “brunch” only.  We are hosting the event as a “BYOB” (both from a liability perspective and to help reduce costs), so bring what you want to drink (we will have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages) and we will provide the refrigeration!

Transportation

We anticipate most attendees will drive, so think about car-pooling! If you are flying in/catching a bus to Portland, we will have a van service available for pick-up ($) at specific times in Portland on Friday only, and back to Portland area transport centers on Sunday only.  Please plan accordingly.  No pick ups or drop offs outside of Portland.
