Job Opportunities
Work in a job like no other! Camp counseling is fun, challenging, interesting, and hard work! The opportunity to have a job at a summer camp is fun and rewarding to the person who is willing to work hard and share a part of themselves with the community.
Camps look for enthusiastic, flexible, motivated, and respectful candidates willing to work with and be a role model to children. MTC staff enjoy an international community with over 20% of our campers and 40% of our staff from all over the world! We celebrate diversity and individualism in a safe environment. All our camp counselors live with teenage campers as mentors, and teach activities during the activity weeks. We offer competitive wages, room and board, liberal free time, staff services, friendship, and experiences that prepare you for just about any future job you will ever have!
MTC takes time to train you and support you. Camp counselors undergo ten days of intensive staff training to ready you for your summer job. We address your concerns and encourage discussion. We use this time to allow familiarization with camp and each other, train for your program activities, and prepare camp for the arrival of the campers.
For anyone who takes the next step to apply, please read this first. If you want this job, you must understand the challenge of camp…
